If your roof does not need repair, we tell you. If the damage is minor and does not need an insurance claim, we tell you. If you would be better off with a replacement than a repair, we tell you that too.

Questions we hear
How quickly can you respond to an emergency?
For active leaks and severe storm damage we typically respond within 2 to 4 hours of your call, 24/7, nights and weekends included, and we arrive with tarping to protect your home. Non-emergency inspections are usually booked within 24 to 48 hours.
How do I know if my damage qualifies for insurance?
Sudden storm damage from hail, wind or fallen trees generally qualifies. Gradual wear and aging generally does not. The line is not always clear, which is why the inspection is free and we explain the answer with photographs before you file anything.
Can you just patch it, or do I need a new roof?
It depends on the damage, the age of the roof and its overall condition. Sometimes a targeted repair is exactly right. Sometimes repairs are good money after bad. We tell you honestly which one makes sense.
Will a repair now stop me claiming later?
No. A properly documented repair does not prevent future claims for new damage. What causes problems is neglect: an insurer can deny a claim if known damage was left to get worse.
What if you find more damage once you start?
We stop, photograph it, explain what we found and why it needs fixing, and get your approval before we go on. You never pay for work you did not authorize.
How much does a roof repair cost?
Minor shingle replacement often runs $300 to $800, and significant storm damage repairs $2,000 to $5,000. You get a written estimate after the inspection. If insurance covers the damage, your out-of-pocket cost is typically your deductible.
